I just came across this lovely groove for practicing ghost notes that Jessica Burdeaux walks us through. You might want to have a couple of simpler ghost note exercises before you try this one… unless you like to jump straight in at the deep end 😄

Top tip for great ghost notes: remember your Moeller technique and do tap strokes wherever you need a ghost note. A tap stroke is where the tip of the stick starts low (about 1cm off the drum) and finishes low. If you keep the stick as close to the drum as you possibly can, those notes can only be quiet ☺️
